Message from the President

Dear Guest,

Welcome to the University of Maryland Panhellenic Association website! As the largest women’s organization on campus, the Panhellenic Association (PHA) serves as the governing council of the 14 National Panhellenic Conference chapters represented at Maryland. Each of our approximately 1400 members is a part of not only her chapter, but the greater Panhellenic community.

The pillars on which our community is founded are leadership, scholarship, service, and sisterhood. These values unite Panhellenic women and provide the foundation for lifelong friendships and lasting collegiate memories. One of the aspects of PHA that drew me to become a member most is the genuine care PHA women have for the wellbeing and success of their sisters. The Panhellenic Association emphasis on these values also mean that you are likely to find PHA women involved in all aspects of the Maryland campus, from teaching assistant positions to community service endeavors to club sports!

The sorority women of the Panhellenic Association also work closely with the men of the Interfraternity Council, and the men and women of the United Greek and Panhellenic Councils. Together, we represent one of the most preeminent Greek communities in the country, yet we continue to grow and strive for excellence.

I appreciate the time you are taking to learn about the Panhellenic Association. Please look around and get a glimpse at the incredible experience of being a Panhellenic sorority member and a Greek student at the University of Maryland!

If you have any questions about sorority life or joining our community, feel free to contact me at umdphapresident@gmail.com.

Loyally,

President
