Reason for joining the PHA Executive Board: After fulfilling my term as a leader within my chapter, I realized I really wanted to challenge myself by being a leader for the entire PHA council at Maryland. I wanted to influence change on a larger scale, and bring what I have learned about myself and "sorority" to the whole community.

Term goals: I have tons of goals for my term including refining the formal recruitment process, keeping PHA numbers very high, and uniting the entire community. I especially want to ensure more open lines of communication between all members of the recruitment process, and make sure that everyone's voice and ideas are heard.

Position Description: The Vice President of Recruitment is responsible for overseeing the 14 PHA chapters’ recruitment efforts, both formal and informal. The VP Recruitment plans, promotes and facilitates all of the formal recruitment activities and assists chapters during informal recruitment. She must be very organized and willing to remain disaffiliated during their entire term, as they are to be an unbiased representative of all of PHA to PNM’s. She must also be very flexible, able to effectively lead a team, and manage her time effectively.
