Reason for joining the PHA Executive Board: to represent my chapter and help make changes I think are necessary in the community
Term goals: to pass a strict budget, give more philanthropy money, and positively impact the community
Position Description: The Vice President of Finance is responsible for the funds of the Panhellenic Association. She creates and maintains the annual budget as well as smaller project-specific budgets. This involves forecasting costs for the upcoming year and allocating funds to executive board members. She also performs bank account reconciliations on a continual basis to ensure accurate record of expenditures. In addition, the position involves paying bills, handling invoices, depositing checks at the bank, and approving and giving out grants.
